Before The Sugary Stop became a WDC social enterprise, it began with four young people and an idea for a business of their own.

One Shared Idea.

The original four worked together to imagine what their business could become, from what they would sell to how they would serve customers. The idea that became The Sugary Stop started here.

Their Idea. WDC's Support.

The vision was for the youth to build and operate the business themselves. But because they were minors, they couldn't establish and operate the business independently.

WDC provided the structure and support needed to turn their idea into something real. The Sugary Stop became a WDC social enterprise where young people could experience entrepreneurship by actually doing it.

The goal was simple: create a real business where young people could learn, earn, and lead.
