WDC and the State of Colorado want to make sure everyone in our community has access to affordable, reliable internet, but we need your help! Over the next few months, the Colorado Digital Equity Team – including staff from the Office of the Future of Work, the Office of eHealth Innovation, and the Colorado Broadband Office – will leverage a federal Digital Equity Planning Grant to develop a state Digital Equity Plan. When completed, the plan will deliver tens of millions of dollars in federal funding to Colorado and ensure our residents have affordable, high-speed internet access, as well as the skills and tools needed to participate in the digital economy.
To produce a Digital Equity Plan that works for all Coloradans, we need everyone’s help to complete this survey! This survey is mobile-friendly and available in 20 languages.
Feedback collected from this survey will help form a plan to fund programs that provide reliable internet, computers, and the skills to use them. Our state needs to hear especially from those who struggle most with accessing the internet. This includes English language learners, veterans, immigrants, adults over 60 years old, people who live in rural areas, individuals with disabilities, members of racial and ethnic minority communities, and those living at or below the federal poverty level.
A CHANCE TO WIN $300.00!!!
Send us an email to info@yourwdc.org when you complete the survey and share this post on social media. You’ll be entered into a drawing to be held on August 8, 2023. The person whose name is drawn will receive $300.00!
